Play Place Innov8 is a Community Interest Company based in Croydon, and it has commissioned CSC to prepare funding bids on its behalf.

Play Place has been delivering positive activities for young people since 2006, particularly to those from more disadvantaged areas and who are at risk of getting into trouble after committing acts of anti social behaviour.
Projects have been developed and delivered with the active assistance of communities in south east London and Kent, and local people have been recruited to work on the projects, and to train for professional qualifications in child care and youth work. In that way, the projects add value to local capacity building, community cohesion and economic development startegies.
CSC was recenttly recruited to assist the organisation secure its long term position by developing a bid for a three year funding proposal to Croydon Council.
